Is this too early to get a wedding dress

If you find THE dress get it, but don get it tailored to your frame yet. You may get bigger or smaller by then, so make sure the dress has plenty of room for alterations.

I do think it a bad idea, a friend bought her dress 1 year before the wedding, then ended up changing her mind and buying a new one. Most gowns are not refundable, and even with the tags on, you will not be able to sell it for anywhere near what you paid. You definitely not going to be able to return it after a year.

Now the time to start planning where it is, and doing the basics. You WILL change your mind by then, trust me. My sister was determined to have a turquiose colored beach wedding, and ended up having a traditional wedding in a catholic church. All the turquiose crap she bought is taking up a garage, and every birthday, or party has been turquiose beach themed (and it will be for awhile).

It too early to buy one now. You should buy it about 8-10 months prior to your wedding date, which means you should start looking about 10-12 months before your wedding date.

You can LOOK for one now, but don buy one. Also, keep in mind that some styles split voor Prom Dresses might get discontinued by the time you ready to buy.

If you feel like you will be tempted to buy a gown before you ready, then wait until next summer to start looking.

It is never too early to look for a wedding dress! :] Once you find the one it the one and nothing will change. It won go out of style either. However it depends all on the bridal shops! I ordered my wedding dress in may(i not getting married until july 2011 so i went 14 months early) and it won be here until november. It would have been here in october but i ordered it two days too late. So you need to check with the bridal shops on ordering and shipments. Sometimes it can take 6 months+ for a dress Avondjurken 2012 to come in. Also you should have your dress ready a few months ahead of time for alterations, and anything you may want to change. There are few seamstresses in our town and the ladies at the bridal shops when I told them it needed to be hemmed and have a side sleeve added to it they said they very well could have it a few months considering all the other brides, proms, and Trouwjurk Lange Mouw anything else seamstresses may be busy with at that time. Especially considering its in the popular season. Plus it seems as soon as you have the wedding dress that when you can finally decide on bridesmaids dresses, accessories, decorations, etc. It would really suck to pick stuff out and not have it match your dress:( Always best to be safe and have your dress than stress over it! :]

I got engaged December of Two weeks after I that, I went dress shopping. I went for fun, but of course fell in love with one. I didn want to buy it then, but they convinced me because they discontinue dresses all the time. Since then I lost a lot of weight, and they can alter it that much. I getting married in a year, so I now need to go looking again and spend more money.
